Machine Tools(2536)

Machine tools for chip removal are all those machines used in the metalworking industry for obtaining finished objects starting from the use of metal bars and metal cubes. The shape of the desired object is obtained by removing excess material, called chip. The removal of excess material is mainly achieved by turning, drilling, milling and grinding. All these operations involve, variously, a contact between the metal workpiece and the cutting tool. The contact between the workpiece and the tool determines the actual removal of the excess material, obtaining at the end of the various processes the finished piece in the desired shape.
