Barfeeders(66)

Bar feeders are machines that are used to automatically feed metal bars within the working area of machine tools, quite often bar feeders are combined with cnc lathes equipped for large productions. Not infrequently, bar feeders can also be interfaced with other machine tools such as: machining centres, transfer machines, grinding machines and band saws. In a nutshell, the bar feeder is more correctly a machine that performs its function in the interlocking of another machine. The bar loaders have a magazine containing the metal bars that are selected from time to time, picked up and then loaded through the spindle of the machine to which they are attached. The modalities of these operations are dictated by the type of machining and by the type of pieces to be produced. The bar feeders are, as mentioned, interfaced with a machine tool with which they interact efficiently in order to meet production requirements, optimize times and restart a new production cycle every time the previous one is finished.
