TRUMPF(20)

Trumpf was founded back in 1923 when its founder Christian Trumpf bought mechanical workshops in Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. Trumpf's skills immediately made the company grow within a few years to the point of having to move to ever larger and more efficient factories. In 1948, the company designed and built the first Trumpf shear. Since 1963, when Trump opened its first subsidiary abroad in Switzerland, the company has increasingly acquired a global character and rapidly expanded worldwide thanks to new acquisitions and the opening of new production plants such as in Japan and the United States. In 1979, the first laser-cutting machine came out of the Trumpf plants, inaugurating the beginning of a new era not only for the company but for the entire world of machine tools. Today, Trumpf is the undisputed leader in sheet metal working using laser technology and is at the forefront of the world in cutting and welding using 2D and 3D lasers. In addition to laser cutting systems, the company is also appreciated for the production and marketing of punching machines, press brakes and welding machines.
