Palletizers(3)

The palletiser is a machine for tertiary packaging (tertiary packaging is the last step in terms of packaging, it directly concerns the storage and transport of goods, to facilitate their handling within the warehouses) to efficiently stack and organize products on a platform / pallet. The task of placing products on a pallet can be carried out by a human operator, but the palletiser allows you to optimize time, reduce costs and also to achieve a better placement precision of the goods positioned on top of the pallet. The pallet is a wooden support (it can also be made of metal or plastic, but the wooden ones are much more common), designed to be lifted by means of cranes or forklifts. The products, previously grouped, are taken from the palletiser and placed on the pallet. The machine will carry out this action until it has stacked the desired number of products. The palletiser's work ends here, then another machine (or operator) will wrap the entire pallet in a film so that it is protected and stable. Palletisers are becoming increasingly intelligent and automated. Today, there are more and more palletizing robots capable of recognizing the size and shape of products and stacking them accordingly.
