Profile bending machines(2)

Profile bender is a machine used in sheet metal working to cold bend profiles of various shapes and sizes. The profile bending machine is mainly used to bend profiles such as angle bars, tubes, beams, U-profiles and T-profiles. The main components of the profile bending machine are the rolls. In most cases there are three rolls. The rolls have the task of exerting a combination of forces on the profile to be machined. The result of this combination of forces determines the deformation of the workpiece. Profile bending machines can be distinguished from each other according to the type of movement of the rolls. There are three different types: machines with double feed, machines with single feed and pyramidal machines. The double-feed profile benders have the peculiarity of having a fixed upper roll, while the two lower rolls are mobile and independent of each other. On the contrary, in the case of single feed machines, only one lower roll is mobile. Finally, pyramidal machines are characterized by fixed lower rolls and upper rollers that move downwards. Double-feed profile benders are the most versatile and suitable solution for machining complex profiles. Modern profile bending machines are equipped with cnc to allow automatic processing and storage of work programs.
